During Pride this year, we will be using a public channel, Pride2011, for all official communication during the events.  As such, it's very important to join the channel if you will be participating.

To join the channel, you can simply type in "/channel_join, Pride2011" into the chat box and hit enter.  You will now be in the channel.

It's also very benificial to create a seperate tab for this channel and assign this channel to it so that you can easily read it during the events.  To do this, right click on the top bar along the chat window.  In the above image, this is where it says Chat, NPC, Combat, etc.  This will bring up the chat configuration.

Click New in the bottom left corner and then type in Pride in the Tab Name field.  Place a check in the box next to Pride2011 in the Custom Channels list.  This will assign that channel to this tab.  You can also add in other channels that you want too, but don't let it become to crowded or it'll be difficult to keep up with the conversation.
